Brené Brown: Listening to shame

When we make the incredible wise and kind choice to embark on revealing our shame so as to become full hearted and in true connection it is not as simple as pulling back the curtain everywhere — necessarily.

There is a time for many people where sharing with abandon does more for healing, telling all the “wrong people” with bright eye’d fear and courage or shameless audacity, or outlandish experimentation.

For most of us, when we are in the tender reveals of healing our deep secrets, our tender dreams we are afraid to share for being judged, there is a way and a time to do it so that it is truly healing. Most of us need to discern WHO can handle the gift of our shame story.

The incomparable Brené Brown talks here about how we distinguish who gets to witness our jewel of revealing and how we make those decisions.
